Three ways into the Wild
Nyerere National Park can be met from the seat of an open vehicle, from the quiet of a boat on the Rufiji, or on foot in the early morning bush. Each one offers a different vantage point, a distinct pace, and its own intimacy with the wild. Come and make the most of all of them.

TWO WAYS IN ONE DAY
The Slow Selous
Our signature experience, the Slow Selous is designed to give you the full range of what this ecosystem offers in a single, unhurried day. You start in the bush, tracking, watching and reading the land from the vehicle, before settling into lunch in the shade. Then the boat arrives at the water's edge inside the park to collect you: a transition that signals a shift in pace and perspective. The afternoon on the water brings hippos, crocodiles, a chorus of kingfishers and bee-eaters, and the river's particular quality of light. The boat brings you directly back to the steps at camp.
