Our Forest Banda is built with a steel frame and canvas-covered wooden walls, designed to sit lightly in the bush and leave no trace.
The veranda faces into the trees, where wildlife moves along the nearby trails. It’s an easy place to sit with a cup of tea, watching what passes through — elephants, if you’re lucky, moving quietly between the shade. Inside, the room is decorated with rustic, locally made furniture using timber sourced nearby.
Softly lit in the evenings, the room runs on solar power, with a fan to keep things comfortable through the warmer nights.
The bathroom is open-air, allowing you to shower under the stars and to the sounds of the bush. Featuring hot water showers and all the amenities, it’s the kind of space you linger in a little longer than you meant to.
Looking out into the expansive forest, you feel miles away from anywhere.
