SELOUS GAME RESERVE INFORMATION
- Entry Permits for the Reserve are US$50 per person per day.
- The Selous has two official entry points; Matambwe and Mtemere Gates. Selous River Camp is located just outside Mtemere Gate.

CLIMATE
- Tanzania’s climate is predominantly tropical. There is a long dry season from June to October and two separate rainy seasons; the long, heavy one from Mid-March to late May and the short rains from November to December. For the whole country, the hottest months are from October to February. The coolest months are June to August when the nights and early mornings can be cold. We recommend June to October as the most pleasant time to visit the Selous. The cool climate and dry grass make for a better Safari.
