A popular option at Selous River Camp, our spacious, fully furnished Mud Hut with en-suite bathroom is more than meets the eye! Spend the night in the rustic style four-poster bed, made from branches collected from our lush forest, or refresh and wash off the Safari dust under the cooling shower. Four huge doors open onto a raised veranda which, with a magnificent view of the Rufiji River, is the ideal place to relax, drink in hand, as you watch the sun set over the water. The thatched roof and mud walls keep the hut cool during the hot days and blend into the surroundings, allowing you to watch rare black and white colobus monkeys feasting in the trees beside the hut. It is both tranquil and private and offers couples and families an alternative option in Tanzania.
